报告人简介:
郭震,2015年获得理学博士学位,毕业于北京大学地球与空间科学学院,2014年至2017年澳大利亚麦考瑞大学地球与行星科学系助理研究员,2017年起在南方科技大学海洋科学与工程系任助理教授。研究领域为固体地球物理学,主要从事流动地震台阵观测,地球物理联合反演新技术的开发与应用等研究。2012年至今在国际知名地学杂志发表论文14篇,包括EPSL,Geology,JGR,Gondwana Research,GJI,Tectonophysics等。其中,2016年度发表于EPSL题为“Seismic evidence of on-going sublithosphere upper mantle convection for intra-plate volcanism in Northeast China”(一作)的文章为Web of Science年度高引用文献(地学前1%)。
报告摘要:
We present a 3D thermo-chemical model of the North China Craton (NCC) by a multi-observable probabilistic inversion method. Our model reveals a thin (~65–100 km) and chemically fertile lithosphere beneath the Eastern NCC, consistent with independent results from mantle xenoliths. In contrast, beneath the Trans-North China Orogen, we observe a more heterogeneous (chemically and thermally) lithosphere, indicating that these areas have been partly involved in lithospheric modification at multiple scales. The lithospheric “keel” of Ordos block is surrounded to the east by a high-temperature sublithospheric anomaly. Our results indicate that the present-day thermo-chemical structure beneath the NCC is the result of a complex interaction between a large-scale return flow associated with the subduction of the Pacific slab and the shallow lithospheric structure.
